Job Description
Poins to be Noted while sourcing:
Over all service app manager responsible for instant and service management, not limited to 1 module.
-incident manag, change management, Finance, OTC, Supply Management,
SAP Service Delivery
POC for client face of all delivery SLA, check for matrics, ticket flows, - anything into service delivery
Service now ticketing tool
End to End service delivery, lead spcefic client/zone
Exposure on the functional side
Process knowledge in business scenario they worked on.
SAP Service Manager - currently managing SAP support
Critical Incident Management, support client
From Service management exp - 3 to 5 years (AMS) App maintance support
10 to 12 years Overall exp
Based on req - they may have to extend or give support
Not Project managers - implementation
Project in business mode, handle the business
ITIL certification
DONOT Share someone who has been doing project management
All 5 days office— because he needsconstant interaction within team.
11AM to 8PM, based on business urgency - 24*7 shift
Good technical knowledge on the SAP system set-up, application & infrastructure.
Good technical knowledge on core SAP application and its underlying infrastructure architecture
Good knowledge and understanding of Project and Service management processes
Knowledge of ITIL standards
Experience in Project Management.
Deep analytical skills – e.g. root cause analysis, problem management
2. PURPOSE OF ROLE
Take Complete ownership of the core SAP S4 applications & all interfaces to satellite systems
Ensure reliable, stable operations of core SAP & interfaces (e.g. XI/PO) to avoid/minimize business disruptions and work closely with the BEC Expert Team.
Perform/coordinate all required activities to support core SAP & interfaces in a standard way, leveraging best practices in application maintenance & support
Manage multiple vendors and align with internal teams to deliver according to SLA & agreed costs
Ensure reliable,
stable & efficient operations of applications/services aiming to avoid/minimize business disruptions

Work towards Security and Compliance to make sure all our environments are with the right level of compliance and have zero open compliance issues
Collaborate with all stakeholders as well ensures effective communication between the different teams across the Zones and General
Act as service owner and recommend improvements, guarantee periodic review of the deliverables of the area and eliminate obsolete and non-added value procedures
Work with the team to consolidate service management KPIs to be presented to senior management during the weekly meetings, monthly meetings and PRP's, guarantee the report of SLA's and critical KPI's of the department as per the aligned format
KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Create routines for the Finance function aligned with the deliverables.
Interact/communicate with Technical Teams to ensure all short, medium & long-term actions have been identified & aligned to avoid application downtime caused by technical issues
Ensure all SAP system components are functioning flawlessly, including the development platform, data dictionary & respective database
Ensure interface technology set-up & sizing is satisfying the changing & dynamic application landscape
Analyse & evaluate interface monitoring results to identify short, medium & long-term actions to avoid interface bottlenecks
Manage stakeholder expectations, follow up on actions logs,
improvements list, ...
Owner of downtime process, release process & lifecycle management process
Act as an escalation point towards IT community for critical technical issues
Manage vendors to deliver according to defined SLAs and according to specific budget constraints
Provide input to contract managers, project teams, management, ...
Ensure budget control over spending for respective area, immediately flagging issues & deviations
Make sure ITIL processes in place (e.g., incident, problem, change, etc management)
Arrange required metrics to measure performance of applications & vendors
Continuously work on simplification of environment & performance improvements
Support analysis of key issues and drive root cause analysis of problems
Collect and share best practices – propose own best practices
Establish required reporting routine within ABI and with vendors
Identify, inform and mitigate risks – risks management
Establish a routine to collect and pass documentation/knowledge to helpdesk, between vendors and within ABI (incl. Zones)
Establish required controls to predict possible issues (e.g., Sev 1 incidents, performance degradation, etc) and mitigate business disruption
Make sure SAP is running according to the original design (architecture, sizing, communications, etc)
Make sure sufficient/effective backup/restore is arranged as well as DRP processes
Support problem resolution and decision-making.
Elaborate KPI's aligned with business stakeholders.
Evaluate the performance of services through the KPI's and SLA's aligned with business.
Coordinate the automation of all manual processes part of Application portfolio in order to deliver operational efficiencies.
Prepare service management decks and communication materials to present results and capabilities to the stakeholders.
Ability to address gaps and create pragmatic action plans to strengthen results.
Develop the functional expertise in the end to end data flow in order to direct technical teams
