Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Backend Focus)
to join a talented international team and help build a scalable platform that connects families with educational providers. This is a
direct hire opportunity
on the client's payroll, offering stability and long-term growth.
10+ years of professional software development experience
Strong expertise with
Ruby on Rails
Experience leading projects or technical teams (preferably in e-commerce or digital products)
General frontend knowledge (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) – nice to have
Advanced English (
C1 or higher, mandatory
) – you will work closely with international stakeholders
Must currently reside in
Argentina
What you'll do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions with
Ruby on Rails
Lead technical initiatives and mentor team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, DevOps) in an
Agile environment
Participate in architectural decisions and the ongoing migration to
AWS
Contribute to improving performance,
reliability, and scalability of the platform
