We invite a Senior Test Automation Engineer with deep expertise in performance testing to join our Center of Excellence (CoE) initiative for a leading integral provider of payment technology and financial solutions. As the lead for performance testing in the CoE, you'll own and drive strategy and standards across multiple client projects and products, evaluate existing approaches, identify gaps, and guide teams on optimization. You'll also establish best practices that elevate and streamline performance testing across the organization.

Is that you?
5+ years of automation testing experience with strong performance testing expertise
Hands-on experience building and integrating performance test pipelines in CI/CD
Proficiency with performance testing tools (Gatling, JMeter, Locust)
Experience designing load, stress, and endurance testing strategies
Experience with system profiling, performance optimization, and identifying bottlenecks
Strong programming/scripting skills, with the ability to work across languages
Experience mentoring engineers and guiding cross-team practices
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed system architectures
Solid understanding of SDLC and enterprise-scale testing
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence teams, drive adoption of standards, and promote best practices
Proactivity, ownership, accountability, and independent work skills




Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Upper-Intermediate+ English level
Desirable:
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, containers, and DevOps practices
Experience creating guidelines, documentation, or training materials for teams

Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you'll lead performance testing within our Center of Excellence, setting standards, shaping best practices, and mentoring teams to ensure alignment and adoption organization-wide.
Lead performance testing initiatives, setting strategy and standards for consistent, effective practices
Define load, stress, and endurance testing strategies and select appropriate tools and approaches
Build, maintain, and integrate automated performance test pipelines within CI/CD workflows
Evaluate system performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable guidance for optimization
Contribute to the CoE, aligning practices, mentoring engineers, and promoting continuous improvement
