Job Title: Senior Accountant (from Argentina)

Our client is a fast-growing HVAC company serving residential and commercial clients across the United States. As they scale their operations, they are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Accountant
based in Argentina to support the CFO as a full-time Senior Accountant. This is a key role that will be responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting in a dynamic, U.S.-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Accounting
Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations
Manage fixed asset schedules and monthly depreciation
Handle month-end and year-end closings and reconciliations
Prepare payroll-related journal entries (payroll is outsourced)
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Analyze financial results and investigate budget-to-presente variances
Ensure regulatory and tax compliance in collaboration with U.S. advisors
Support audit preparation and provide documentation as needed
System & Process Optimization
Utilize NetSuite




to manage accounting functions and generate financial reports
Improve and customize NetSuite processes, workflows, and reporting
Recommend and implement best practices for accounting operations
Contribute to the development of internal controls and accounting policies
Collaboration
Work closely with the CFO and liaise with U.S.-based operations and vendor teams
Provide financial insights to support decision-making across departments
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or equivalent certification
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong experience with NetSuite (minimum 2 years required)
In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience supporting U.S. companies
Experience in HVAC, construction, home services, or field service industries is a plus
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial analysis)
Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
Must be able to work
100% in New York business hours (EST)
