Job Overview
BDC is seeking a skilled, highly motivated Controller to manage accounting functions across multiple portfolio companies and support the finance department of One Dragon Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounting: billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and operations.
- Ensure accurate, timely analysis and reporting of financial information.
- Prepare and audit schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual close, participate in budget vs. presente meetings, and investigate variances.




- Advise on financial analyses and decision‑making regarding capital investments, significant costs, and benchmarks.
- Define, benchmark, and implement operational best practices.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws concerning finances, tax filings, and reporting.
- Produce complete financial statements (balance sheet, P&L;, cash flow). Monitor cash and funding balances.
- Execute flux and variance analysis and commentary from prior periods.
- Monitor and enforce effective internal controls over documentation, tracking, accounting, and reporting.
- Evaluate workflow processes and procedures for efficiency and improvement opportunities.
- Lead the external audit process by preparing schedules, locating documents, and responding to inquiries.

About You – Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
