This request is for an additional headcount to ensure business continuity for the Customs function. This Customs Professional role will be part of the Taxes & Customs organization, supporting the North Andina & South America region from Mexico with international trade compliance. To meet this objective, the role is structured around three core areas: operational management of regional customs activities, ensuring process compliance and data integrity through auditing and reporting, and proactive risk mitigation. This framework ensures that daily import/export operations are handled efficiently while adhering to all regulatory requirements and internal standards. Given the focus on independent process management and complex problem-solving, the adecuado candidate will be a Senior Professional (P3) with advanced knowledge of Latin American import/export regulations, significant experience with customs documentation and ERP systems like SAP, and a proven ability to work with limited supervision.

What You Need To Make a Difference





50% Regional Customs Operations Management
Independently manage and instruct daily import/export operations for South American countries by issuing instructions to customs agents via trade management systems.
Conduct thorough verification of complex customs and commercial documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB) to ensure full compliance with local regulations.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customs agencies and regional logistics teams, resolving difficult operational inquiries and managing requirements for customs declarations.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all necessary documentation and information is provided to customs brokers in a timely manner.
30% Compliance, Auditing, and Reporting
Maintain and oversee accurate, auditable records of all foreign trade operations per country, ensuring data integrity and compliance with record-keeping policies.
