Overview
My name is Jeremy Rosario, and I am a Reading High senior in the Culinary Arts program at Reading Muhlenberg CTC.
I chose culinary arts because being in the kitchen has always felt natural to me.
I love being creative with food and seeing how it can bring people together.
Watching someone enjoy a meal I helped make is what motivates me to continue this path.
Being in the culinary program has helped me grow as both a cook and a person.
I learned important skills like food safety, staying organized, and paying attention to the little details that make a dish better.
Working with my classmates and teachers showed me how important teamwork, communication, and patience are in the kitchen.
I was fortunate to have two great instructors to work under at RMCTC.
Chef O’Connell and Chef Potteiger have helped to motivate me to work hard and follow my dreams.
While working at Chick-fil-A, I gained hands-on experience and learned responsibility, how to work quickly, stay consistent, and how important it is for everyone to work together.
These experiences have shaped my career goals.
My goal is to earn a business and culinary degree and one day open my own restaurant where I can share my love for food and bring people together.
