We are currently hiring a highly skilled lawyer to join the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) – Banking, Capital Markets & Research group.

The position includes responsibility for providing primary advisory support to the following CIB Groups: M&A;, Capital Markets, Credit, Research, and Coverage.

Responsibilities

- The review and discussion of non-disclosure agreements; joinder agreements; non-reliance letters; tax allocation letters; powers of attorney; and related transactional and closing documentation.

Qualifications

- Minimum of two years’ experience, whether in law firms or at corporations, which may include M&A;, Capital Markets and/or other type of corporate transactional background, contract drafting and negotiation work.

- Experience with drafting and/or reviewing engagement agreements and other corporate contracts.

- Law degree and membership in a jurisdictional organization (JD or equivalent required).

Attorney candidates must be in compliance with all relevant licensing requirements including the jurisdiction where the role will be located prior to commencement of employment.

- Enthusiastic, “can‑do” attitude is critical to the role and a strong desire to work closely with the Corporate Investment Bank and Coverage bankers and the Legal practice group.





- Excellent drafting skills and strong attention to detail.

- Polished verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish); ability to effectively communicate legal issues to senior managers or executives and to discuss with external clients of the Firm; strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently on transactions and projects.

- Team player, confident, and proactive.

- All candidates must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment.
