Lead the strategic direction and execution of the Commercial Team in Argentina, overseeing the full BMS portfolio with a strategic focus on Onco-Hematology. Ensure excellence in product launches, talent development, business expansion, and strong collaboration within the BMS global matrix.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Leadership
• Design and implement the BU strategy for the full portfolio, prioritizing growth in Onco-Hematology as the core business area.
• Leverage data, insights, and forecasting to support strategic decisions and optimal resource allocation.
• Ensure alignment with global and regional priorities.
2. Excellence in Launch Execution
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of major product launches.
• Drive cross-functional launch processes, partnering with Marketing, Medical, Access, Supply, Digital, and Global/Regional teams.
• Ensure early competitive positioning and rapid market adoption.
3. Deep Knowledge of the Onco-Hematology Ecosystem
• Maintain a strong understanding of the therapeutic landscape, competitive pipeline, and market dynamics.
• Develop strategic relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific societies, and top institutions.
• Identify opportunities and anticipate access barriers.
4. Market Access and Healthcare System Engagement
• Lead access, pricing, and negotiation strategies across public and private payers.
• Navigate the complexities of the Argentinian healthcare system (PAMI, union-based healthcare, private payers, provincial networks).
• Develop innovative access models and strategic agreements where needed.
5. Team Leadership, Talent Development and Succession Planning
• Lead and develop teams across Marketing, Sales, Access, and other key BU roles.
• Strengthen the Brand Lead role as a strategic driver of the business.
• Build and execute development plans, learning agendas, and robust succession pipelines.
• Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
6. Navigation of the BMS Global Matrix
• Build strong working relationships with global and regional teams.
• Represent Argentina’s business needs in general/regional forums.
• Ensure adoption of corporate standards, processes, and governance frameworks.
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related fields.
• MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
Experience
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong track record leading cross-functional teams and business units.
• Demonstrated excellence in complex product launches.
• In-depth knowledge of the Onco-Hematology ecosystem in Argentina.
• Experience working within global matrix organizations.
