About The Role

AI is being deployed to billions of people across the globe — but without the right cultural context, it gets things wrong in ways that matter. We're looking for Cultural Content Reviewers to help leading AI research labs get it right.

You don’t need a degree in cultural studies. You need something more valuable: the lived experience of growing up in, and deeply understanding, your own culture. If you can spot what an outsider would miss — a tone-deaf joke, a misread tradition, a phrase that lands wrong — this role was made for you.

This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role open to people from all backgrounds and regions.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Review AI-generated content for cultural accuracy, sensitivity, and appropriateness
- Identify content that is culturally outdated, offensive, or simply off — things an outsider wouldn’t catch
- Provide regional context and suggest culturally relevant, natural-sounding alternatives
- Evaluate whether translated or localized content actually feels right to a native audience
- Work across diverse content types including text, images, and AI recommendations
- Submit clear,



structured feedback using provided evaluation tools
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

- Deep, firsthand familiarity with the customs, norms, values, and cultural nuances of your region
- A sharp eye for cultural missteps that outsiders regularly miss
- Strong written communication skills — you can explain why something feels wrong, not just flag that it does
- Thoughtful, open-minded, and consistent in your evaluations
- No academic background in cultural studies required — lived experience is your qualification

Nice to Have

- Experience in translation, localization, journalism, or content moderation
- Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of regional sub-cultures, dialects, or minority communities within your region
