Job Overview

This position will support the Contracts group handling operations in the Americas and Europe. The Contracts team, located in Buenos Aires as part of a integral group with offices in Houston, London, and Singapore, provides support to Midstream operations by managing the preparation and review of trade contracts (crude, refined products, NGLs) and communicating with third parties partnering in the Oil and Gas industry.

Gradually building a comprehensive understanding of the end‑to‑end processes in scope to support a business environment in constant change will be key to ensure the analyst’s success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with North America and London front‑office teams, mid‑office teams (Credit, Risk, Legal), and back‑office Finance/Accounting to support contract preparation and review for crude, refined products, and NGLs.
- Assume responsibility for the end‑to‑end contract cycle: mailbox handling, new contract creation, amendments, discrepancy resolution, and ensuring all agreements comply with tax, credit,



and legal standards and protect the company from unnecessary financial or legal exposure.
- Proactively identify poorly defined processes or steps, propose improvements, and drive implementation to optimize contract workflows.
- Provide insightful contract analysis that mitigates risk and protects enterprise value, leveraging a solid understanding of business terms and legal frameworks.
- Engage stakeholders and foster strong cross‑functional collaboration with Credit, Tax, and other teams to enable seamless commercial execution.
- Support implementation of new business models toward lower carbon and new acquisition integrations, ensuring contractual alignment.
- Deliver metrics and internal reporting on contract activities and process performance.
- Improve communication and relationship skills to meet customers’ high expectations and excel in a highly dynamic environment.
