The Role The International Business Development Manager will be the primary driver of new international opportunities, strategic partnerships, and commercial growth across TNC Aviation’s global expansion agenda spanning the UAE and the Middle East, the United States, and Latin America.
This is not a conventional business development position. It requires a commercially sharp professional who is equally comfortable in boardroom negotiations, aviation conferences, and on the ground managing complex multi-stakeholder relationships across time zones.
The individual will work in close proximity to senior leadership, gaining direct exposure to global aviation markets, investor ecosystems, and high-value partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across international aviation markets, with a priority focus on the UAE and the wider Middle East, established markets such as the United States,
and emerging opportunities across Latin America.
- Build and sustain relationships with airlines, flight training organisations, aviation companies, investors, and strategic partners globally.
- Lead end-to-end partnership development from initial outreach and proposal development through to negotiation and contract closure.
- Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessment across target geographies and aviation verticals.
- Evaluate and recommend new commercial opportunities, business verticals, and revenue channels aligned with TNC Aviation’s growth strategy.
2. Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and manage a high-quality pipeline of strategic partnerships with aviation schools, airlines, training academies, MROs, and related entities.
- Coordinate complex multi-party partnership discussions involving legal, commercial, operational, and financial stakeholders.
- Prepare compelling business proposals, partnership decks, investor presentations, and executive-level reports.
- Support senior leadership in high-stakes meetings, negotiations, and strategic engagements with C-suite and senior industry professionals.
- Maintain a robust CRM and relationship-tracking system across the global partner network.
3. International Representation & Travel
- Represent TNC Aviation at international aviation conferences, trade events, networking forums, and business meetings.
- Travel internationally as required — to the UAE, the wider Middle East, the United States, Latin America, and other geographies — to develop relationships and close partnerships.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional representation in all external interactions on behalf of TNC Aviation.
Candidate Profile We are seeking a commercially driven, internationally minded professional with the following attributes:
- Proven experience within the aviation sector — airlines, flight schools, aviation consulting, MROs, or aviation training organisations strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles with measurable outcomes.
- Strong entrepreneurial instinct combined with disciplined execution.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with senior aviation industry stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating with high autonomy in fast-paced, international, and ambiguous environments.
- Enthusiasm for international travel and cross-cultural business engagement.
- High personal standards in communication, presentation, and professional conduct.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for aviation industry exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, International Relations, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Demonstrable experience in business development, partnership management, or client relations.
- Strong command of written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
