**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Demonstrate expertise and provide support to the Finance teams and ALNET users at Airgas, provide training, encourage best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage the the AP, AR, Cash Applications, Accounting functions at both the Airgas Business Units and the ALABS BSC to clear the aged items
- Resolve open items on the ALNET Account Reconciliation clearing account with a strong concentration on the older aged items
- Support the reconciliation process of the ALNET clearing account
- Be the central point of contact for variances between Airgas and Air Liquide
- Work on the customer and master data updates to be aligned with the ALNET Code for Airgas
- Download the AP/AR extracts from SAP and load them in ALNET
- Publish the Open AR/AP Aged Items report to the AP and AR teams on a monthly basis
- Distribute the Consolidated Extracts, Settlement and Analysis Power Query to the Finance Teams
- Meet, at a minimum, on a monthly basis with the Finance teams to share updates to the process and address issues
- Ensure resolution of ALNET inquiries in an effective and timely manner. Escalate issues encountered to the appropriate technical support structure (Netting Center, AL subsidiaries, ALABS BSC, or Airgas Finance Teams).
- Coordinate and support ALNET projects based on an agreed project plan and attributes (change impact, tests, etc.)
- Perform tests in SAP and ALNET when enhancements are needed by setting up calls/meetings, provide training to impacted parties, and coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth functionality of the changes in SAP and ALNET.
- Maintain the ALNET Documentation Narrative and job aids that outlines the process with Airgas




- Maintain and update all related documentation and provide support related to ALNET for the queries submitted by Airgas Finance Teams (AP, AR, Cash Apps, Accounting).
- Update Microsoft Power Query as needed and provide enhancements to the process.

**COMPETENCIES**:

- Experience with and understanding of IFRS
- ERP (preferably SAP) or other general ledger computer system experience
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- High Level of English Proficiency is required.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
- Able to operate at a detailed level without losing sight of the big picture
- Action oriented; thrives in a dynamic environment; willing to take the initiative when the opportunity presents itself
- Analytical thinker, with a strong background in accounting processes and data flows
- Versátil/team player; comfortable changing directions mid-stream; able to work collaboratively with the teams within record-to-report; with an end to end mindset
- Google Suite platform experience a plus

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- BS degree in Accounting or Finance, Chartered Accountant/Public Accountant a plus
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in a public or private company environment.
- Experience with Intercompany activities, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and SAP
- Microsoft Power Query knowledge
- Basic understanding of the end-to-end record-to-report processes with proven hands-on experience in GL accounting and reporting
- High level of ownership mindset
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
