Requirements

- Experience 4+ years in security audit, assessment, compliance, risk management, or data privacy role
- Healthcare experience 3+ years related to cybersecurity
- Consulting experience in the healthcare vertical
- Knowledge of cloud provider services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of NIST; familiarity with publications that discuss building a GRC program
- Frameworks: NIST‑800‑53, 30, 37, 39, 61, 161
- HIPAA (HITRUST is a bonus but HIPAA is more important)
- Ability to coach, mentor, and teach at a senior level
- Project management skills with an eye on budget constraints (timelines and backward planning)
- Strong client problem‑solving skills, especially around scheduling conflicts and similar challenges

Must Have

- Time in field 4+ years related to cybersecurity (internal or external client‑facing)
- Problem‑solving, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward
- Experience with the technical implementation side of at least two of NIST, CMS, or HIPAA/HITRUST frameworks; capable of leading and managing projects for deliverables
- Ability to delegate tasks and lead junior consultants in technical areas relevant to frameworks




- Full leadership of client/stakeholder conversations with a consulting‑firm background
- Strong communication skills when working with C‑Suite executives

Nice to Have

- Cross‑risk analysis experience (knowledge of SOC2, ISO)
- CISSP
- CCP, CHPS, HCISPP, CCSK, CCSFP, CIPP/US
- Bachelor’s or MBA in a cyber‑related or computer‑science field
- AI RMF and/or ISO 42001
- Cloud certifications

Job Responsibilities

- Up to three engagements simultaneously
- Manage a second‑seat analyst and monitor quality
- Participate in scoping calls for sales and provide input
- Develop product‑development blogs and white papers to support practice objectives
- Progress towards becoming a Principal
- Apply problem‑solving skills to varied projects while staying abreast of current trends
- Assess risk and compliance standards, identify gaps
- Create tailored packages, white papers, and roadmaps for technical solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and sales teams
- Perform quality assurance, produce thought‑leadership content, and publish public‑facing materials for marketing (blogs, webinars, etc.)
- Drive practice improvement initiatives, field guide rollout, and AI integration within delivery processes
- Standardize risk analysis and customize cyber security engagements; handle staff augmentation, resiliency planning, and product development for unique client pain points
- Help clients develop risk plans, third‑party risk programs, and audit readiness through gap analysis and readiness assessments
