Expected CompensationHireArt's looking for a talented Worker Trust and Safety Coordinator to join our Worker Experience Team and provide advanced human resources and people operations support to HireArt contract workers.In this role, you'll focus on resolving complex employee inquiries and escalations, with a primary emphasis on leave of absence (LOA) and workplace accommodations requests.You will serve as a subject matter resource for these areas while ensuring workers receive timely, empathetic, and compliant support.Role OverviewYou will think critically about the contractor experience to anticipate the needs of our contract employees and our clients.This includes identifying root causes of complex issues, recommending process improvements, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a seamless support experience.While this role focuses primarily on Tier 3 inquiries and escalations, you will also have the flexibility to support Tier 2 inquiries as needed to help maintain operational continuity and service levels.Day-to-day, you will use strong prioritization and time management skills to support workers through sensitive and complex employment situations while helping create a positive and compliant employment experience.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary support resource for Tier 3 employee inquiries and escalations.Guide workers through LOA and accommodations processes, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state specific leaves, including but not limited to the California Family Rights Act (CFRA).Investigate and resolve complex worker issues, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Account Management as needed.Support Tier 2 inquiries (payroll, benefits, etc.) during high-volume periods or when operational coverage requires.Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes,
documentation, and internal workflows.Document cases clearly within support systems and maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting.Help improve, create, and implement processes and best practices related to worker support, particularly in LOA and accommodations management.Participate in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Account Management, Finance, Payroll, and other teams, as required.Requirements3+ years of customer support, HR operations, or employee relations support experienceExperience handling complex employee cases or escalationsEnglish proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Zendesk or similar ticketing systemsStrong ability to manage sensitive situations with compassion, empathy, discretion, and professionalismSelf-organizing, proactive, resourceful, and detail-orientedAbility to think critically about business issues and recommend thoughtful solutionsBasic understanding of Slack, Google Suite, and other tools used for organizational collaborationYou'll Really Stand Out If You HaveExperience supporting leave of absence programs (FMLA, medical leave, personal leave).Experience managing or supporting workplace accommodations requests.Previous experience working in a support role for a tech or staffing company with a high volume of support inquiries.Familiarity with HR compliance considerations related to employee leave or accommodations.Benefits PackageWork-from-home benefits, including:Workspace/home office set-up stipendCompany provided laptopPaid time offThis is a hybrid, full-time, international contractor position with HireArt.It is open to candidates who are able to work during eastern time zone business hours.Unfortunately, we're unable to offer sponsorships or do corp-to-corp.HireArt values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, which is why we are interested in every qualified candidate, regardless of their background, how they identify, or their inclusion in any protected class.#J-*****-Ljbffr
