Chief Accountant – Compliance & Treasury Leader
We are seeking a highly driven Chief Accountant to manage local compliance and financial operations in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities
- Guarantee 100% compliance with all relevant local legislation, statutory accounting standards, tax laws, civil law and internal group accounting guidelines.
- Ensure the accounting is correct, transparent, and complete, including appropriate accruals and deferrals.
- Prepare financial statements that present a true and fair view of the financial position, performance and cash flows of the reporting period.
- Assure timely submission of accurate financial information to all stakeholders such as tax authorities and other local authorities.
- Assist the Finance Manager in proactively managing the year‑end audit process and external auditors to secure clean Early Warning Memorandums and clean Management Letters, strictly avoiding an “Emphasis of Matter” or a “Qualified Opinion.”




- Continuously drive efficiency by streamlining processes within and beyond accounting and by leveraging available tools.
- Ensure that accounting operations are fully integrated from a process, systems and control perspective.
- Support the Finance Manager in establishing effective tax management in cooperation with tax specialists in HQ and external tax advisors.
- Supervise bookkeeping and support budgeting and strategic planning through financial scenario analysis.
- Oversee the company’s cash management, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
- Optimize working capital, support financial planning and forecasting, and oversee foreign exchange.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
