Job Title: Senior Accountant (from Argentina)Industry: HVACLocation: Remote (Argentina-based)Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (New York business hours)Reports To: CFO (USA)Engagement Type: Long-term, 40hrs per week, Independent Contractor (Remote)About the CompanyOur client is a fast-growing HVAC company serving residential and commercial clients across the United States.As they scale their operations, they are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant based in Argentina to support the CFO as a full-time Senior Accountant.This is a key role that will be responsible for full-cycle accounting and financial reporting in a dynamic, U.S.-based environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End AccountingMaintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustmentsOversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliationsManage fixed asset schedules and monthly depreciationHandle month-end and year-end closings and reconciliationsPrepare payroll-related journal entries (payroll is outsourced)Financial Reporting & CompliancePrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPAnalyze financial results and investigate budget-to-presente variancesEnsure regulatory and tax compliance in collaboration with U.S.



advisorsSupport audit preparation and provide documentation as neededSystem & Process OptimizationUtilize NetSuite to manage accounting functions and generate financial reportsImprove and customize NetSuite processes, workflows, and reportingRecommend and implement best practices for accounting operationsContribute to the development of internal controls and accounting policiesCollaborationWork closely with the CFO and liaise with U.S.-based operations and vendor teamsProvide financial insights to support decision-making across departmentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA or equivalent certificationMinimum 5 years of relevant accounting experienceStrong experience with NetSuite (minimum 2 years required)In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience supporting U.S. companiesExperience in HVAC, construction, home services, or field service industries is a plusAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial analysis)Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approachMust be able to work 100% in New York business hours (EST)Engagement DetailsEngagement Type: Independent Contractor (not an employee)Compensation: Competitive hourly/monthly rate (paid in USD)Remote work setup with long-term potentialDirect reporting to U.S.-based CFO and leadership teamExposure to U.S. accounting practices and high-growth operations#J-*****-Ljbffr
