LATAM Assistant Controller - SOLA (South Latin America)

Role Type: Permanent - HYBRID Role Overview The SOLA Assistant Controller will be a vital member of the Numerator International finance team, reporting to the Numerator International LATAM Regional Controller in the Control & Accounting function, but with key stakeholders in the Finance Business Partner world - particularly the Numerator International Finance Business Partners in LATAM. You will play a key role in ensuring the robust day-to-day operations of the team with a focus on producing accurate and timely management information, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Role Description

Ensure all reporting requirements are delivered with quality and on-time in line with reporting calendar.

Analyse information to enable business stakeholders working with their Business Partners to make decisions with full understanding of the financial impact.

Liaise with Business Partners to ensure production of routine and ad hoc analysis and reports that highlight areas for further attention and analysis.

Ensure working capital is managed in line with policy.

Support the implementation of new business processes working with the general and regional teams.

Ensure an appropriate controls environment is in place working alongside internal audit and compliance.

Support internal and external audits, including ensuring timely clearance of auditor findings and management recommendations.

Review of local filings including tax and VAT.

Manage a team. Role Requirements & Capabilities Education/Primary Qualification

Education to degree level.

Member of a professional accounting body.

English and Spanish language fluency required, Portuguese preferred. Knowledge and Experience

Good knowledge of local GAAP.

Understanding of US GAAP would be desirable.

Previous experience with SalesForce, Netsuite, ADP and OneStream would be desirable.





Strong technical knowledge and experience of practical application of accounting requirements.

Experience of managing systems change and automation processes.
