Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are hiring three Senior Quality Engineers to join engineering teams in the healthcare and enterprise financial technology space. Each QE will be embedded in one of three teams - Diagnostics, Central Intake / Platform, or FinOps - working on complex, mission-critical systems.

This is first and foremost a manual testing role. For the first months, you will be doing hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing as you build domain knowledge. Long-term, we expect you to drive automation ownership, shift-left practices, and enable engineers to take quality into their own hands.

This is a 100% remote, contractor engagement. We are only considering candidates currently based in Latin America.

What You Will Do

- Execute functional, exploratory, and regression testing across complex enterprise workflows

- Validate data integrity using SQL; trace defects with precision across multi-system environments

- Manage and maintain test cases in TestRail; track work items in Azure DevOps

- Collaborate closely with engineering teams — communicate findings clearly and act as a quality advocate

- Build toward automation ownership using Playwright or similar frameworks as the role matures

Who We Are Looking For

- 5–10 years of Quality Engineering experience - strong fundamentals, not just test execution

- Comfortable and effective doing manual testing; no hesitation jumping into ambiguous, complex domains

- Engineering mindset: thinks in frameworks, test coverage strategy, and quality architecture

- SQL proficiency for data validation across relational databases





- Azure DevOps for work tracking; TestRail or similar for test management

- Automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, or similar) — or a clear drive to get there

- Strong communicator, async-first, remote-capable, English-proficient

The Three Teams - You Will Be Matched to One

Each QE will be embedded in one team based on their background. All three require the same core profile; the difference is domain and tech stack.

Diagnostics (DX)

Billing, scheduling, and provider compliance workflows. You will own end-to-end functional and regression testing across complex data-intensive workflows. Experience with billing or claims (HCFA, ICD codes) is a strong plus. Key tools: SQL, TestRail, Azure DevOps, Playwright, FlaUI.

Central Intake / Platform

The most technical of the three roles. API and integration testing across a multi-system healthcare platform — REST, GraphQL, and EDI. Backend-first mindset required. Key tools: Postman, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Azure Application Insights, Cosmos DB.

FinOps

Functional and integration testing across enterprise financial operations platforms. Invoice and payment lifecycle validation, ERP integrations, and production regression. Oracle EBS or APEX experience will significantly shorten ramp time. Key tools: Oracle EBS, Oracle APEX, TestRail, Azure DevOps, BizTalk, EDI.
