**Technical Manager**

**_ Overview_**

**Location - Buenos Aires, Argentina**

**Your role**:
The qualified individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

- Develop and execute task plans to meet project objectives and manage technical integration and interface control across related disciplines.
- Select and review engineering methods and materials to ensure safe, high‑performance structures, systems, and components.
- Assign qualified staff to project roles aligned with their skills and provide coaching, supervision, and performance feedback.
- Lead recruitment and training efforts while offering technical guidance to support team capability and project success.
- Oversee technical deliverables to ensure compliance with budget, schedule, quality expectations, and applicable nuclear codes and standards.
- Review and approve key technical documentation for the project or specific phases.
- Identify and recommend improvements based on project needs and customer feedback, and liaise with internal and external engineering teams on technical matters.

**About you**:

- University degree in an applicable field of engineering or science.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and/or performing safety and licensing work.
- At least 5 years of applicable engineering experience including applicable experience prior to engineering management roles.




- Sound knowledge of multiple engineering fields and of nuclear technologies.
- Demonstrated skills in the management of several complex technical projects, leadership, and project management of a highly technical group.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills in the development of team members and support staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish) and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional client focus and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen - the ability to think, plan and negotiate strategically with a strong commercial orientation and good understanding of financial measurements.
- **_ Additional, preferred qualifications:_**
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance.
- Experience in managing subconsultants and work sharing with other offices within a company.
