About the role
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP systems including S/4HANA, MDG, BRIM, BW/4HANA, ECC, BW, SRM, SCM, CRM, LVM, MDM, Catalog, APO Live Cache/MaxDB, GRC, IQ, EP, and Solution Manager.
- Ensure optimal performance and availability of SAP environments in both on-premise and cloud infrastructures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for SAP Basis administration and security.
- Provide expert-level support for incidents, root cause analysis, and proactive system health checks. Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Working hours will be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST. What you need to have to be considered:

- 5+ years of deep SAP Basis Administration experience.
- 3+ years working in a NetWeaver 7.0 or higher environment.
- 1+ years of experience in S/4HANA, BRIM, and BW/4HANA environments.




- 1+ years supporting SAP in a cloud environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across SAP landscapes. These will help you stand out:

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and advanced monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MaxDB and SAP IQ.
- Familiarity with encryption tools and secure file transfer protocols.
- Ability to work in complex, multi-system environments with high availability requirements.
