SvitlaSystems Inc. is looking for aMiddleSoftware Development Engineer in Test (SDET)for a full-time position (40 hoursper week) in Argentina.Our client is a global technology company specializing in self-service payment solutions and digital customer engagement for the retail petroleum industry.Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is a professional who combines software development skills withexpertisein testing and quality assurance.
Theyare responsible fordeveloping and implementing test strategies,designingand writing automated test scripts, and ensuring the overall quality of software products.Requirements:2+ years of experience in software testing.Expertise in writing backend automation from API testing, integration testing, and performance testing.Knowledge of the Zephyr Scale.Strong knowledge of Node.js and Mocha.Understanding of AWS.General experience with AI tools.Understanding different types of testing, such as end-to-end (e2e), integration, UI, and Unit testing, as well as foundational quality terminology.Foundational programming knowledge of classes, loops, variables, and functions has used with coding management tools such as Git or SVN.Expertise in identifying testing scenarios and test plans, and executing them, and can accurately define and log defects when they arise.Experience using Jira and Confluence.Basic skills in troubleshooting.Nice to have:Familiarity with the oil and gas industry.Experience with SAFe.Responsibilities:Create test scenarios, identify defects, and automate specification files (specs).
