We're looking for a python backend developer to join a U.S startup building a social app.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Integrate with third-party services and internal systems.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
Participate in code reviews and help maintain high code quality standards.
Must Have Qualifications
5+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
Solid hands-on experience with FastAPI.
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
Git and version control workflows.
Advanced English communication skills.
