Our Full Stack Developer is an integral part of our engineering team, working across a wide range of clients, tech stacks and projects.
A Full Stack Developer at Modus typically reports to an Associate Director and above within Engineering.
Responsibilities Engineering Execution & Development Develop user interfaces, ensuring responsiveness across devices, and optimizing for performance using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
Create server-side logic and applications, typically using languages and frameworks such as node js, Python, .
NET, or PHP.
Design and create optimized database schemas, tables, and models (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.




Integrate large language models and retrieval augmented generation systems into functional applications.
Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and technical documentation for existing applications.
Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues in the application, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Reviewing peers' code for quality, security, and standards to maintain a healthy codebase.
Collaboration & Teamwork Contribute with technical direction, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals Work cooperatively with project and account managers, designers, engineers, and other team members, as required Attend and engage in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and technical decisions to stakeholders Contribute to team growth Other duties related to the position that may arise from time to time and as may be assigned Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong full-stack background Proven experience in a full stack engineering role Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, .NET, Java or similar) Clear understanding of system architecture, APIs, and scalable application design Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases Experience with AI and agentic systems and technology is a strong plus Strong (English) communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and explain complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders You're located in Buenos Aires and are willing to work from our office at least 2 times a month (hybrid schedule)#J-*****-Ljbffr
