The Release Train Engineer is a servant leader and coach responsible for facilitating and enabling the execution of an Agile Release Train (ART).
The RTE drives alignment, flow, and continuous improvement while ensuring teams deliver value in a predictable and sustainable manner.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate ART-level ceremonies including PI Planning, ART Sync, Scrum of Scrums, Product Owner Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & AdaptEnable PI planning readiness, execution tracking, and delivery of committed objectivesCoordinate dependencies, manage risks, and remove impediments across teamsPartner with Product and Technology leadership to align strategy, roadmaps, and executionEnable intake of work through demand and capacity alignmentMaintain ART-level metrics, dashboards, and transparency into delivery progressDrive continuous improvement through retrospectives and maturity assessmentsCoach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsetQualifications5+ years of experience as a Release Train EngineerExperience working in Agile environments using SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or XPStrong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience with Agile tooling (Azure DevOps preferred)SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification or equivalent Agile certificationHelping People Thrive in a Connected WorldConnect with us.
