About Gomry

Gomry is an AI-native event platform targeting the $400B annual advertising budget that goes into events. We build a proprietary AI-native ad network that installs on our own and third-party ticketing platforms, with ultra‑native placements for the event industry. This enables event organizers and small ticketing platforms worldwide to monetize through digital sponsorships without harming the user experience. Gomry is profitable with ~70,000 monthly active users and backed by investors such as Google, Z Fellows, BeReal, Meta, Klarna, Stripe, App Lovin and Bending Spoons.

What you'll do

- Build and ship product features end‑to‑end for various user‑facing features.
- Improve database and infrastructure performance by implementing caching solutions and connection pooling.
- Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting for our services to better respond to operational incidents.
- Scale our services via architectural changes and infrastructure improvements.
- Redefine best‑in‑class software development processes to build a purpose‑built product.

How we work

We focus on trust, minimal meetings, and uninterrupted focus. Small teams (one to two people) typically own a project and rotate leadership. We align on a single roadmap and a north star, avoiding OKRs or A/B tests. Bugs are fixed immediately and reviewed weekly. We value quality, constraints,



and close customer interaction.

Internship details

This is a six‑month internship. At the end, you may be offered a renewal for another six months or a return offer. If a return offer is extended and accepted, it includes a two‑week trip to Silicon Valley as part of the Silicon Valley Fellowship, with travel and accommodation covered.

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a computer science or related degree.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java Script, or a comparable language.
- Experience with databases, caching, or distributed systems is a plus.
- Passion for learning and working on fast‑paced, early‑stage startup products.

Location

Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role requires in‑person work in Buenos Aires.
