Position SummaryServes as a Sr. Financial Analyst on the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing centralized and consolidated reporting supporting the IT organization. The position works closely with senior leadership and reports to the Manager FP&A.; Key responsibilities include producing financial and business analysis, interpreting and investigating data, and ensuring accurate reporting within established timelines.

Job Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Manager in providing ongoing financial support and partnership to the IT team, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with accounting, finance, and procurement teams on billing initiatives.
- Distribute and assist in interpreting key financial reports to respective cost center owners.
- Build relationships, including influencing and rapport skills.
- Communicate effectively at all organization levels.
- Assist with ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.




- Prepare monthly intercompany account reconciliations and required journal entries; ensure invoices are sent to intercompany partners.
- Perform analysis of expenses to ensure accurate coding, adequacy of accruals, and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Facilitate positive relationships with General Ledger team members, including international accounting personnel, and participate in cross‑functional teams as needed.
- Work closely with the manager to track budgets and support presentations to Executive Leadership teams.
- Assist with loading annual budget and quarterly forecast into Oracle.
- Handle special projects as assigned, emphasizing attention to detail.

Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Progressive accounting experience, preferably within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry.
