Purpose

Ensuring HSE goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.

Responsibilities

- Provides overall guidance from a HSE perspective to the Project to ensure that the Project HSE Management System is established and implemented into the overall Project execution strategy.

- Close monitoring of contractors to ensure that the Project HSE objectives are met.

- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.

- Identifying, evaluating, and resolving HSE issues during all phases of the Project.

- Coordination with Construction engineers in different disciplines during the Construction phase for their tasks related to HSE activities.

- Ensuring that the Project HSE procedures are established, maintained and implemented by the contractors.

- Scheduling and conducting Project internal HSE audits on Contractor activities.

- Issuing Audit Reports, monitoring and administering the closure of actions.





- Review/Approve Project HSE plan and HSE Control Procedures.

- Ensure Contractor’s HSE personnel are appropriately qualified.

- Participating in reviewing the Project Execution Plan and ensuring that it addresses the applicable HSE requirements to fulfill the overall Project requirements.

- Ensure the auditing of HSE system of vendors and sub-vendors.

- Highlight on a weekly basis and where necessary on daily basis, the Project HSE management system issues that need to be addressed by Project Management.

- Ensure the investigation of HSE incidents and communicate the findings accordingly.

- Provide regular feedback to Project management and key stakeholders, including lessons learned.

- Monitor the performance of Contractors and Subcontractors with respect to HSE.

- Availability to work on a roster (14x14 – Salta Province).

Qualifications

- High level of written and spoken English.
