We provide B2B clients with complete turnkey solutions: premium ALUMERO mounting systems, PV modules from leading Tier-1 manufacturers , state‑of‑the‑art inverters, battery storage, and accessories – all with the highest quality standards.
To expand into Argentina , we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Country Manager who will independently drive market development, organize the first deliveries, and build a strong local team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a market entry and growth strategy for Argentina.
- Independently organize the first product deliveries (import, customs clearance, warehousing, distribution).
- Establish and lead a local business unit/subsidiary , including company registration, legal compliance, and reporting.
- Represent Sun2World as a general contractor for large‑scale PV projects (mounting systems, PV modules, inverters, storage).
- Build strategic partnerships with EPCs, project developers, utilities, and investors.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, standards, and certification requirements .
- Recruit, train, and manage a local team (sales, technical, logistics, back office) with full leadership responsibility.
- Prepare revenue, forecast, and budget plans , reporting directly to executive management.
- Participate in trade fairs and industry events to strengthen Sun2World’s brand presence.
Certifications & Compliance (Argentina)
- Ensure compliance with IRAM standards for PV modules, inverters,
and mounting systems.
- Fulfill ENRE (Ente Nacional Regulador de la Electricidad) requirements and local grid codes.
- Address CAMMESA regulations for energy market participation.
- Manage import regulations and customs compliance (e.g., SIRA system, tariff classification, product labeling, warranties).
- Work with accredited Argentinian laboratories and authorities for certification and approval.
- Build and maintain a compliance dossier for audits and regulatory reviews.
Profile
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of senior‑level experience in the B2B sector, preferably in renewable energy.
- In-depth knowledge of the Argentinian energy market , including ENRE regulations, IRAM standards, and import processes.
- Proven track record in market development and team leadership .
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, negotiation skills, and a solid network in the energy sector .
- Language skills: Spanish (business fluent), English (fluent) ; German is an advantage.
- High willingness to travel and ability to work independently.
