DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for an Accountant for our integral shared service Accounts Payable accounting team based in Argentina. Join us to make our amazing team even stronger!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Checking correctness of accounting attributes for expenditure supporting documents
Making bank payments to EPAM counterparties (domestic and foreign wire payments; batch and individual transfers)
US GAAP bookkeeping of Company (number of branches) expenditures by types, the same as US GAAP bookkeeping of respective AP and bank payments
Monthly accounting close of mentioned accounts in SAP in accordance with established procedure
Communication with local (statutory) accountants on bookkeeping issues if required

Providing explanations/supporting documentation to Senior/Lead Accountant on all in-scope companies, if required

Dealing with internal and external requests, participating in meetings, as well as providing support documents for audit purposes
Participating in regular improvement process activities with IT development team, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements





REQUIREMENTS

Finance/Accounting background
Minimum 1 year of accounting work experience
Good knowledge of English (B2 level at least)
Good MS office skills, especially Excel skills
Attentiveness to details and with commitment to compliance
High personal responsibility, taking ownership of the tasks
Ability to work in frames of agreed rules and procedures
Readiness to constant self-development
Team player, collaborating in multicultural teams

NICE TO HAVE

ACCA/DipIFR
Knowledge of SAP
AP knowledge or Treasury knowledge
