Position Summary: Develop and support BI applications using the QlikView platform and other analysis and reporting platforms; and assist in the administration of those platforms as necessary in order to provide internal and external clients with the best possible insights available from the source data. Also, develop the back-end data models and ETL processes required to support BI applications as necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Work with business analysts and end users to understand and prioritize user requirements and translate them into BI applications and development of end-user business-oriented metadata definitions.
- Assist in ensuring that the QlikView server process continues to run and operate in the most efficient manner.
- Demonstrate software to internal users as well as deliver individual and group training as appropriate.
- Perform other work- related duties as assigned.

Requisitos

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience with BI development
- 2+ years’ experience with QlikView development desired.
- Experience with any major BI platform (QlikView, Cognos, BO etc) essential
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and competency with related BI stack tools

(DTS, SSIS, SSRS)

- Good problem- solving skills, logical process thinking and end-to-end system concepts a must.
- Use of data profiling methods to analyze data sources.
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of data warehousing.
- Application development on the .Net platform a plus.
