Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented QuickBooks Bookkeeper to support day-to-day bookkeeping operations for multiple clients. This back-office role focuses on transactional accuracy, reconciliations, clean-up projects, and ongoing account maintenance within QuickBooks Online (QBO). The idóneo candidate has solid bookkeeping fundamentals, prior experience supporting a tax or accounting firm, and strong attention to detail.

Payroll experience is highly preferred. This is a non-client-facing role with limited interaction. The client is comfortable with international accents.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and manage multiple client books in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

- Perform bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations

- Support book clean-up and catch-up projects

- Categorize transactions accurately and review for discrepancies

- Prepare basic financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)

- Identify bookkeeping issues and escalate them to the accountant or tax advisor

- Support the accounting and tax team during peak seasons





- Ensure accuracy and timeliness while managing multiple deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Online

- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals

- Prior experience working with a tax or accounting firm (strongly preferred)

- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently

- Payroll experience is a strong plus

Nice to Have

- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification

- Experience with historical book clean-up projects

- Familiarity with payroll and/or sales tax processes

- Spanish-English bilingual proficiency
