About the Role

We are hiring an English speaking and writing Construction Office Engineer to support U.S. based residential construction companies with day-to-day coordination, scheduling, operational execution, and pipeline follow-up.

This is a remote role for professionals based in Argentina due to time zone alignment and strong English communication.

You will work directly with U.S. based general contractors and construction teams. Clear and professional English, both written and spoken, is required for daily communication.

This position supports smaller general contractors performing residential work including remodeling, painting, concrete, drywall, roofing, flooring (LVP), kitchens, bathrooms, tile, countertops, cabinets, windows, and stucco.

This is not a corporate construction role. There are no complex RFIs, submittals, or heavy documentation systems. The focus is practical coordination and keeping projects moving.
Core Responsibilities

Project Coordination and Communication
- Act as the main communication point between U.S. based contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Coordinate daily with subcontractors by phone and text to confirm schedules, progress, and issues
- Communicate clearly in English with U.S. based teams
- Provide updates to the contractor and flag delays or risks early
- Assist with trade sequencing such as demo, framing, drywall, paint, and finishes

Scheduling and Timeline Management
- Build and maintain simple project schedules including start dates, durations, and sequencing
- Track active jobs and adjust timelines as needed
- Coordinate delivery schedules, crew start dates, and job timelines

Material Procurement and Logistics
- Order materials from suppliers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, and local vendors
- Schedule deliveries and confirm materials arrive before crews start




- Track backorders, missing items, and returns

Subcontractor Coordination
- Schedule subcontractors based on project needs
- Confirm scope, availability, and start dates
- Maintain organized contact lists for trades
- Track subcontractor performance and reliability

Estimates and Invoicing Support
- Input estimates into Stripe and Contractor+ based on contractor provided scope and pricing
- Write and format scopes of work, payment schedules, and notes in clear English
- Send estimates and invoices and track approvals and payments

Pipeline Tracking and Follow Up
- Maintain and update client and project databases using Excel and Airtable
- Track incoming leads, active estimates, and potential projects
- Call clients after estimates are sent to confirm receipt, answer basic questions, and identify next steps
- Contact new leads and schedule appointments for in-person estimates
- Keep the pipeline organized and ensure all leads and estimates are followed up

Operations Tracking and Documentation
- Maintain job tracking systems such as Airtable
- Update job status, notes, and next steps across multiple projects
- Organize job folders, photos, receipts, and documents

Client and Field Support
- Send scheduling updates and payment reminders to U.S. based clients
- Assist the contractor in real time with coordination, ordering, and problem solving
- Support day-to-day execution across active jobs

Project Closeout Support




- Track punch list items
- Coordinate final touch-ups
- Assist with final invoices and project completion documentation

Role Scope

This role includes:

- Daily coordination across multiple residential projects
- Communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and U.S. based teams
- Scheduling, ordering, and operational follow-through
- Client calls and estimate follow-ups

This role does not include:

- Project management ownership
- Final pricing or estimating responsibility
- High-pressure sales or closing
- Field supervision

**Qualifications**:
Education (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or similar

Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in construction coordination, office engineering, or operations support
- Experience working with general contractors or construction trades
- Strong understanding of residential construction workflows and trade sequencing
- Experience with client follow-ups, scheduling, or pipeline tracking is a plus
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple active projects

Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Excel and Airtable for tracking projects and clients
- Comfortable with Google Drive and similar tools
- Experience with Contractor+, Stripe, or similar platforms is a plus
- Ability to learn new systems quickly

Communication (required)
- Strong written and spoken English
- Must be comfortable making phone calls to U.S. based clients
- Must be able to write professional messages, scopes of work, and updates in English
- Spanish and English bilingual is a plus
