Under the supervision of the Conservation and Sustainability Division Manager, the Keep Santa Fe Beautiful Program Manager is responsible for initiating, implementing, supervising, coordinating, special projects and programs with the Keep Santa Fe Beautiful Program. The Keep Santa Fe Beautiful (KSFB) Manager oversees the City of Santa Fe’s community beautification, volunteer engagement, and creative placemaking initiatives within the Conservation and Sustainability Division of the Department of Public Utilities. The Conservation and Sustainability Division includes three integrated sections including Water Conservation, Sustainability, and Keep Santa Fe Beautiful. The KSFB Manager develops and manages programs that enhance environmental stewardship, civic pride, and the visual beauty of Santa Fe through community-driven projects and volunteer engagement. This position organizes and manages initiatives including volunteer community cleanups, the AdoptaMedian program, ecological restoration projects, community gardens, and environmental education programs.



The KSFB Manager also leads community-driven public art programming such as murals and creative placemaking projects, particularly those that operate at the intersection of ecology, culture, and art. Programs implemented by the KSFB Manager align with the nationally recognized Keep America Beautiful framework, which emphasizes litter prevention, waste reduction and recycling education, beautification, and community greening. This position develops and manages a volunteer advisory Board of Directors that provides leadership for program development, fundraising, and community partnerships. The KSFB Manager works closely with the board and other KSFB staff to pursue fundraising opportunities, sponsorships, and grant funding.
