In Argentina within the fintech industry, we are actively seeking a Middle Java Engineer to join our team building and evolving critical microservices in a Cloud Native ecosystem . Your mission will be to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-quality solutions, leveraging cutting-edge tools —including AI-powered development tools— to enhance delivery efficiency and impact.

This is a remote position, but we prioritize candidates living in Córdoba or CABA for eventual on-site meetings.

This is you

- 4 years of experience in backend development with Java (17+) and Spring Boot

- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

- Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)

- Proven experience in AWS and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Interest in innovation and adopting new technologies, especially AI in software development.

Nice-to-have skills:

- Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript

- Knowledge of AWS SAM

- Experience with reactive programming (Spring WebFlux)

- Experience with API contract tools (Swagger, RAML)





- Strong focus on observability, metrics, and system performance (Cloudwatch, DataDog)

This is your role

- Design and develop robust microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot

- Ensure technical excellence by applying best practices and design patterns (Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, MVC)

- Work on API integrations (REST), asynchronous processes, and event-driven architectures (Queues / MQ)

- Deploy and operate services in a Cloud environment (AWS) using Docker and Kubernetes

- Ensure end-to-end quality by writing unit, integration, and functional tests

- Promote a culture of innovation, leveraging AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and others to optimize development workflows

- Contribute to technical documentation and proactively identify risks or blockers
