Responsibilities Develop analytics applications for Finance Controlling departments in the MB Cars division.
Work collaboratively with local and remote IT teams to deploy and operate the system.
Help automate and streamline operations and processes.
Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Maintain code integrity and organization.
Must Have Skills Development skills.
Good understanding of application frontends developed as SPAs using ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js for building images and containers for deployment.
Experience with REST APIs.
Knowledge of modern development tools (NPM, Git/SVN, Webpack, Gulp/Grunt) and ability to transform code into solid products quickly.
Strong skills in a modern language and framework combination such as Java/Spring.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and aspects related to application deployment and maintenance.
Experience working with version control tools such as Git.
Knowledge of NoSQL technologies.
Experience with container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
Experience with continuous integration practices and tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
Experience building web/mobile back-ends and APIs.
Software Provisioning:
Mastery of Kubernetes and Docker in creating manifest files required to build and deploy applications from code to ready-to-consume products.
Strong skills in software provisioning, configuration management, and application-deployment tools enabling infrastructure as code.
Mastery in one or more tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
Mastery in GitHub for IT operations (maintenance, support, others).
Testing automation (e.g., CI/CD, API, others).
Nice to Have Developer with existing Daimler IT background/experience is very beneficial.
Affinity for advanced analytics, statistics, and mathematics; understanding of R and Python code.
Knowledge of Cloudera stack and analytics workbenches such as Dataiku is an advantage.
Others Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar qualification with relevant work experience.
Good English language skills (German language skills are an advantage but not required).
Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
Good team player; eager to take over responsibility, to learn, and versátil.
