Ops Engineer specializing in Data and AWS to lead cloud data infrastructure projects.

You will create and optimize scalable, secure data platforms, lead technical strategies, and mentor your team.

Responsibilities

Lead design, deployment, and enhancement of AWS cloud data infrastructures such as ECS, RDS, Athena, Glue, and Redshift

Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS Cloud

Formation

Work with data engineering and analytics teams to develop optimized data pipelines with Python and AWS Glue

Define and maintain CI/CD pipeline best practices using Jenkins, Git

Hub Actions, and AWS Code

Pipeline

Drive improvements in system scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency

Integrate advanced data processing tools like Apache Airflow and Apache Spark EMRManage escalations and perform root cause analysis on AWS infrastructure incidents

Develop secure IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks





Lead capacity planning, resource allocation, and cost management

Mentor engineers and provide leadership on AWS data infrastructure

Collaborate with leadership to set priorities and project roadmaps

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning

Requirements5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Dev

Ops with cloud infrastructure focus

Minimum 1 year of leadership experience

Strong Python coding skills for automation and workflow management

Advanced SQL knowledge for complex data handling

Extensive experience with AWS services including Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, and S3Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and AWS Cloud

Formation

Proven ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git

Hub Actions, or AWS Code

Pipeline

Experience with distributed data processing and orchestration tools like Apache Spark and Airflow
