We’re looking for a python backend developer to join a U.S startup building a social app.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Integrate with third-party services and internal systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain high code quality standards.

Must Have Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
- Solid hands-on experience with FastAPI.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
- Git and version control workflows.
- Advanced English communication skills.
