Reports To: Head of Acquisitions / Investment Team Lead
Overview
Cloudland Capital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Management / Investment Coordinator to join our acquisitions and investment team.
In this role, you will serve as the critical data link between market research and deal execution.
You will leverage industry tools to canvas new markets, identify potential acquisition targets, research beneficial ownership, and coordinate with active brokers to generate deal flow for the team.
Role Description
1) Market Research & Data Collection
Use CoStar, DataTree, and Crexi to canvas and analyze new markets for potential investment opportunities.
Build and maintain databases of target properties, ownership records, and market comparables.
Conduct property-level research including zoning, tax records, liens, and encumbrances.
Track market trends and compile data-driven reports to support acquisition decisions.
2) Broker Outreach
Schedule and coordinate introductory calls between brokers and the acquisitions team.
Identify and engage active brokers in target markets to source off-market and listed opportunities.
Maintain a CRM or tracking system of broker relationships and communication history.
Follow up on leads and ensure timely responses to broker inquiries.
3) Ownership & Entity Research
Research and identify owners of acquisition targets using public records and other databases.
Compile ownership profiles and entity structures for due diligence purposes.
Support the team with skip tracing and direct outreach to property owners when needed.
4) Team Support & Administration




Work directly with the acquisitions and investment team as the primary data resource.
Prepare summary packages on potential deals for internal review.
Assist with pipeline management and deal tracking across multiple markets.
Participate in regular team meetings and provide status updates on research progress.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in data management, research, or coordination roles (real estate industry preferred).
Proficiency or ability to quickly learn CoStar, DataTree, and Crexi platforms.
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) – daily interaction with U.S.-based team.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and data organization.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
A willingness to try new technologies (including AI), incorporating them into day-to-day workstreams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investments, or brokerage.
Familiarity with U.S. property records, county assessor databases, and public filing systems.
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
Background in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
Prior remote work experience with U.S.-based companies.
