The Role
The Telnyx infrastructure team is building a next-generation platform that spans across multiple cloud providers and multiple continents.



We leverage the Telnyx private backbone network with cross-connects to major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP, and IBM Cloud to build a cloud‑agnostic, highly available platform. With our lean team, we’re currently running infrastructure in 10 PoPs and 3 continents.
In This Role You Will

Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions for managing databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and others, both in virtualized environments and Kubernetes clusters.
Collaborate with engineering to identify and resolve pain points in managing large-scale, high-availability database infrastructure.
Lead the migration of existing database services from VMs to Kubernetes, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions.
Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and performance tuning for on‑premise database systems.
Implement and manage observability, logging
