Burly Boyz Moving & Storage is a Canadian interprovincial moving and storage company; we move residential client's household goods across Canada with our own fleet, our own crews, and our own standards. We are in the middle of a serious operational build-out, and our logistics function is at the center of it.

You'll Be Joining an Argentine Engineering Team
This is not an isolated remote role. Our logistics department is led and staffed by Argentine engineers, and you will be working directly alongside them. Our Logistics Manager is an industrial engineer himself, and he built this team with a specific philosophy: complex operational problems require engineering minds to solve them.

The Role
We need an Engineer who can take the complexity of interprovincial moving logistics and bring structure, efficiency, and analytical rigor to it.
At its core, this role is about three things:
1. Route Planning
Designing the most efficient movement of our trucks across Canadian corridors. You will plan sequences, manage timing, and ensure our crews and vehicles are deployed intelligently.
2. Load Grouping & Trip Optimization
We move multiple customers on shared loads. Your job is to group those customers onto trips in a way that maximizes load utilization, minimizes dead kilometres, respects delivery windows, and keeps our operation profitable.
3. Communicate the trips and assignments effectively with our Field and Operations team.
This requires systems thinking, pattern recognition, and the ability to work with imperfect, real-world data.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Analyze upcoming job schedules and group customers into optimized shared loads
Plan routes across Canadian corridors,



balancing geography, volume, timing, and crew capacity
Monitor live fleet data and adjust plans in response to delays, changes, or new bookings
Identify underutilized or overloaded trips and recommend corrective action
Build and maintain planning tools and models in Excel
Collaborate with the logistics team to continuously refine processes and standard operating procedures
Communicate route and load plans clearly to operations by inputting visits into our operations software

Samsara — live fleet tracking and telematics
Internal dispatch and scheduling systems

What We Offer

$1,350–$1,500 USD/month, paid in USD — a stable salary in a stable currency
Fully remote, full-time position — 40 hours per week, including weekend availability
8 paid holidays per year

What We're Looking For

Degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
Strong analytical and systems thinking ability
Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations planning is an advantage
Computer and Software skills
Professional written and spoken English
Comfortable working with real-world data that is sometimes incomplete or inconsistent
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work autonomously within a collaborative team
