Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Full Stack Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Colombia.
Our client operates in the travel technology and digital media ecosystem, focusing on platforms that combine data analytics, affiliate media partnerships, and travel search integrations.
The business model involves working with media partners and travel-related platforms to enable data-driven insights, customized reporting, and integrations with external distribution channels.
The company is continuously enhancing its platform by expanding analytics capabilities, building tools to manage affiliate media partners, and integrating travel data feeds with major travel search platforms, such as Google Travel.
Current initiatives also include developing exportable widgets, reporting tools, and customer support features such as Live Chat, all aimed at improving the partner experience, data visibility, and platform functionality.
Requirements
Strong experience with React JS, Next.js, and AdminJS.
Experience in backend development with Node.js and Express.js.
Knowledge of MySQL.
Knowledge of Redis.
Understanding of GCS.
Familiarity with GitHub, Docker, and Jenkins (for CI/CD).
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain full-stack features on the existing platform using React JS/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js/Express.js (backend).
Customize and extend an analytics and BI suite, including dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization capabilities.
Build and enhance a media affiliate console for onboarding partners and providing customized performance reporting.
Develop exportable widgets and embeddable components for partner integrations.
Implement and maintain data feed integrations with travel search platforms (starting with Google Travel).




Design and implement REST APIs and backend services supporting frontend applications, partner integrations, and platform functionality.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to ensure secure, reliable data exchange.
Implement Live Chat and other real-time features within the platform.
Work with MySQL for schema design, data modeling, and query optimization; use Redis for caching and performance improvements.
Contribute to architecture and technical decisions together with the architect and technical lead.
Ensure the platform's performance, scalability, and reliability by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Deploy and maintain services using Docker, GitHub, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Google Cloud Storage (GCS) where required.
Own end-to-end delivery of individual features or mini-projects, including implementation, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Collaborate with a small distributed engineering team and communicate daily with stakeholders across time zones.
Work independently with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of tasks and technical solutions.
