**About the Team**

Enterprise Services and Public Affairs (ESPA) seeks to enhance and protect the reputation of Citi, its businesses and the brand through direct and indirect communication with Citi's various stakeholders, including our colleagues. The Global Communications team is a nimble group in Enterprise Services and Public Affairs that covers a broad scope of responsibilities, ranging from executive communications and public engagements to quarterly earnings and corporate reputation programs as well as communications that support our lines of business. The nature of the work provides a dynamic environment where members of the team serve as company spokespeople to media, drive engagement with colleagues and develop external and internal digital communications for a global workforce of more than 200,000 colleagues. Within Citi, the team works with many internal partners, including senior leadership, and regularly coordinates closely with other members of the Enterprise Services and Public Affairs team across the world.

**About the Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- In partnership with the Public Affairs South Cone head and team, will help develop and drive the cluster’s media relations, internal communications and social media strategies and activities to enhance and protect Citi’s reputation in Latin America.




- Partner with internal departments and external agencies in different countries to execute projects.
- Support with Executive communications and proactively manage regional media outreach, press inquiries and interviews.
- Prepare internal and external communications such as media briefing books, press releases, media statements, social media posts, organizational announcements, letters to employees, etc.
- Support with translating and cascading general communications to the countries.
- Coordinate internal approvals.
- Monitor and report KPIs.
- Understand and support with reporting related to risks and controls.
- Support with administrative tasks, such as processing invoice payments and vendor’s relations.
- Partner closely with Communications leadership and teams to inform and advise on both ongoing communications work and areas of opportunity. The work and performance of the individual in this position directly impacts the result of the entire Latin America ESPA team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, business management, marketing or another related field; experience in the financial industry a plus.
- Knowledge of communications or marketing and minimum of 4 years of increased responsibility, preferably with a large and complex organization.
- Subject matter expertise in media relations,



social media and KPIs reporting; internal communications a plus.
- A leader who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to contribute.
- Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including multipurpose writing, tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executives.
- Minimum advanced English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus.
- Integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitude.
- A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.
