Job Purpose
Lead the People Organization agenda for the Argentina GCC (900+ employees,- 30% annual growth) ensuring scalable, efficient and continuously evolving People practices in a fast-growing, cross border environment.
Scope & Context
- Population: 900+ employees, majority supporting U.S. operations
- Growth: ~30% annual headcount expansion
- Stakeholders: U.S.-based leaders (including VPs), Argentina-based managers and employees.
- Environment: Matrixed, high-growth, evolving organizational structure
Primary Job Responsibilities
Growth & Scalability Leadership
- Lead People support for a rapidly expanding population.
- Continuously evaluate and redesign People processes to support scale and efficiency.
- Ensure onboarding, integration, and leadership alignment evolve with growth.
Cross-Border Business Partnership
- Act as strategic People partner to business leaders based in Argentina and US.
- Provide guidance on local labor framework, market practices, and cultural dynamics.
- Influence remotely and build strong cross-geography relationships.
Operational Excellence at Scale
- Ensure strong execution of performance cycles, promotions, compensation planning, engagement initiatives, and talent reviews.
- Standardize and optimize processes to drive efficiency.
- Identify automation and AI opportunities to increase People function scalability.
Leadership Advisory Across Levels
- Partner with stakeholders across all levels, from early-career employees to Senior Leaders (local leaders and US based leaders)
- Support leaders in navigating rapid growth and change.
People Team Leadership
- Lead and continuously evolve the People Partner team structure and Tier 1 (PEC type of tasks)
- Reassess roles and responsibilities as complexity increases.
- Build capability toward a more data-driven, scalable People function.
Culture & Organizational Health
- Act as steward of the Assurant culture, ensuring growth strengthens
- Preserve and reinforce a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
- Monitor engagement signals and cultural indicators, identifying risks early.
- Ensure effective cultural integration of new hires during rapid expansion.
- Partner with leaders to role-model expected behaviors and reinforce accountability
Qualifications Required
- University Degree or equivalent in HR, business or related field.
- Bilingual English
- HRIS knowledge desired (Workday)
- 10+ years of experience HR jobs related to shared serveces centers in multinational organizations
- Results and improvement focus. Highly proactive, able to deal with multiple priorities.
- Strong operational discipline with analytical mindset.
- Executive-level English proficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership potential for broader scope over time.
- Effective communications skills to build relationships across different cultures, levels and teams.
- A developed emotional maturity, resilience and ability to work within a complex matrix organization.
- Team player, versátil to adjust as required.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and rapid change.
- Strong cross-cultural influencing skills.
- Process thinker with continuous improvement mindset.
