Job brief
This position is a Hybrid opportunity, only available for professionals in Buenos Aires, Argentina .
We're looking for an important company in the Energy industry, a Lead ERP Support Analyst for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, as the primary resource for supporting financial modules within the organization's ERP ecosystem. This role combines functional expertise in finance processes with technical proficiency in D365 Finance and Operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead support resource for D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for functional and technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, configure solutions, and implement enhancements.
- Manage escalations and coordinate with Microsoft support when necessary.
- Oversee system updates, patches, and deployments using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Support integrations with other systems and ensure data integrity across financial workflows.
- Train and mentor junior support team members on finance-related ERP functionalities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, budgeting, and compliance.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate), and data migration tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for ERP deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work cross- functionally.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- Good communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with D365 Supply Chain Management and Operations Activity modules.
- Familiarity with API integrations and customizations within D365.
- Knowledge of security roles and user management in Dynamics 365.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and Azure services.
- Microsoft's Dynamics Certification.
