Requirements We are looking for a Web Application Firewall Engineer with hands-on experience managing and optimizing Akamai WAF solutions.
This role will focus on protecting web applications, tuning security rules,



and supporting general clients in English-speaking environments.
Responsibilities Configure, manage, and optimize Akamai WAF policies Monitor web traffic and investigate security threats and anomalies Tune rules to reduce false positives while maintaining strong security Collaborate with application, cloud, and security teams Support incident analysis related to web application attacks Document configurations, processes, and security findings in English Requirements Experience working with Akamai WAF or Akamai security products Strong understanding of web security (OWASP Top 10) Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TLS, and CDN concepts Experience in cloud or DevSecOps environments Advanced English communication skills Nice to Have Akamai certifications Experience with other WAF solutions (Cloudflare, F5, Imperva) Scripting or automation experience Benefits
