What You'll Do
- Write email copy for Klaviyo flows
- Write campaign emails tied to drops, promos, launches, and flash sales.
- Adapt copy to different brands, verticals, and tones without losing conversion intent.
- Write copy designed to be visually led. Clear headers, short sections, strong CTAs.
- Collaborate with strategists and designers. Follow provided strategy and structure exactly.
- Optimize for clicks, revenue per recipient, and conversion, not opens or vibes.
What You Must Be Good At
- Direct-response copywriting for eCommerce.
- Writing concise, skimmable email copy that sells.
- Understanding customer awareness stages and intent.
- Writing for offers, not just products.
- Following frameworks and structure without improvising.
- Editing your own work ruthlessly.
Required Experience
- 2+ years writing email copy for eCommerce brands.
- Proven experience with Klaviyo-based email programs.
- Portfolio with real email examples (flows or campaigns).
- Experience writing for DTC brands doing real volume.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with agencies.
- Understanding of segmentation and lifecycle strategy.
- Familiarity with metrics like RPR, CTR, conversion rate.
- Experience in apparel, beauty, wellness, or CPG.
