Postdoctoral Position

The Laboratory of Polymers and Bionanomaterials at the Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join our multidisciplinary research team. We are seeking highly motivated, creative, and independent candidates. The selected candidate will conduct advanced research in one or more of the following areas:

- Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs)
- Carbon quantum dots (CQDs)
- Programmable hydrogels
- Biopolymer- and bio-inspired nanostructured materials

The selected candidate will conduct cutting-edge research using state-of-the-art facilities and will be expected to contribute to high-impact scientific publications. Requirements

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degrees in physics, chemistry, materials science or a related discipline.

Strong background in materials science, nanomaterials, or related experimental research.

Demonstrated experience in laboratory-based work.

Experience in the following techniques desirable: AFM, nanoindentation, rheology, DMA, BDS (broadband dielectric spectroscopy), EIS (electric impedance spectroscopy)

Contract Details

Open to candidates of any nationality.

Initial one-year contract, renewable for a second year.

Competitive net stipend of approximately €2000 per month.
