Hours:
40 hours/week

Expected Pay Range:
$2,000-$3,000 USD/month DOE

Business Owner/CEO

The Role:

The Client Manager is a strategic leadership role requiring a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance. This position combines high-level client servicing in business advisory and financial consulting with oversight of accounting operations and team leadership. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Client Manager ensures the delivery of accurate, GAAP-compliant financial services and drives value for clients through deep technical accounting knowledge and financial insight.

Responsibilities - duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

Managing Clients

- Manage and service clients in business advisory & financial advice spheres, including strategic meetings, software selection, and business mentoring.
- Ensure timely and exceptional bookkeeping & accounting services by supervising a dedicated team of accountants
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with a diverse clientele, addressing inquiries and offering solutions to challenges
- Lead technical accounting conversations with clients and provide strategic advice rooted in deep financial acumen.
- Compose, analyze, and present advanced financial documents including cash flow analyses, budgets, and management reports, ensuring alignment with GAAP and client objectives.
- Supervise full client engagements, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounting services.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our current client base to cross-sell consulting and accounting services.
- Retain existing clients by prioritizing their needs and responding promptly.
- Manage billing of clients and client profitability.
- Assist and create processes for accounting work when onboarding new clients,



ensuring technical accuracy and accounting best practices are followed.

Managing Team

- Lead and train Accounting team members in the USA and in our offshore offices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Managing the performance of team members through performance reviews, training, coaching, 1:to:1 call and career development plans
- Recruiting, training and upskilling accounting talent
- Resource and capacity planning to ensure there are sufficient and trained team members to support the client volume
- Assist team members with technical accounting issues and provide expert guidance on GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and accounting software.
- Hosting Weekly Meetings with Team
- Managing Unused Capacity for all teams and allocating resources as required (i.e. training)
- Oversees the onboarding training of new team members

Other Responsibilities

- Evaluate potential tools for addition to the LN Accounting Advisor's third-party tech stack
- Research and continue education in all areas of accounting and technology used internally and by clients.
- A firm innovator through commitment to refining processes and using technology to streamline, automate and gain efficiencies with the firm that benefits both the firm and the client.
- Continuously monitor and align SOPs with current operational practices.
- Participate actively in business development and marketing efforts.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- English fluency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in public accounting, Big 4, or multi-client consulting environments.
- Deep technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting operations is essential.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, and other related software tools (Gusto, )
- Strong financial analysis and advisory skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to clients.
- Knowledge of accounting and operational matters for manufacturing, e-commerce or consumer goods industries
- Working knowledge of inventory & inventory management systems (DEAR, Cin7), preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Gsheets

- Strong attention to detail & accuracy, delivering quality, consistent, and timely work for our clients
- Experience in a multi-client environment
- Self-starter who is effective with minimal direction
- Commitment to client service excellence and continuous improvement
- Ability to follow, improve, and create a standard operating procedure (SOP) for assigned tasks and deliverables
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) in support of internal and external engagement and partnership
- Ability to work independently and as part of a unified, supportive, and solutions-oriented team
- Embraces full ownership of assigned tasks and client deliverables, proactively communicating progress, roadblocks and risks, or needs for assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

- Have e-commerce/CPG industry experience
- Know your way around Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or wholesale platforms
- Experience/desire to grow with AI/automation and finding efficiencies
