Senior QA Engineer (Buenos Aires)

Remote position for candidates from Argentina

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in both manual and automated testing. Proactivity and excellent communication skills are essential.

1. Manual Testing Excellence

Test Planning: Designing and organizing test cases into Master Test Plans and query-based suites (including detailed documentation, screenshots, and permission/role mapping).

End-to-End Testing: Performing functional, exploratory, and regression testing.

Data & API: Conducting manual API testing and database testing.

Bug Management: Handling the full bug life cycle, from reporting and triage to retesting bugfixes.

Release Support: Performing production release confirmation testing.

1. Test Automation & Performance

Web Automation: Developing and maintaining automated regression, sanity, and smoke tests using Selenium.

API Automation: Implementing automated API test suites.

Load Testing: Conducting performance and load tests using Blazemeter.

Scripting: Supporting the team by preparing scripts for test data creation and configuration checks.

Metrics: Tracking and reporting automation progress (e.g.,



total automated vs. manual-only cases).

Communication & Deliverables

Reporting: Preparing QA sprint reports, deployment test plans, and ad-hoc reports on automation progress.

Formal Approvals: Managing formal QA sign-offs for deployments (including automated test run links).

Collaboration: Participating in weekly QA syncs with the HS QA Manager and conducting test case reviews.

Stakeholder Management: Providing clear communication within a cross-functional developer team.

Requirements

Experience: Proven track record in a Senior QA role within software development teams.

English: Excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a must.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and a high level of organization.

Domain Knowledge: Solid experience in software-based solutions and professional QA methodologies.
